Hello Classmates, and Fellow Reunion Committee Members,

Larry Lear sent the following message to the Reunion Committee.  I thought the entire class would be interested.

Unfortunately,  as we all grow older, there will be more announcements like this. Please let Larry Lear or me ( Steve Lesniak- sles1313@aol.com) and I will post it on this home page. I will leave each announcement posted as long as space is available. 

I may be sending sad news that you are already aware of....  Last night, I got an email message from Mark Hanley, telling me that our good friend Don Long has passed away, victimized by cancer.

Going back to early July as the annual EHS alumni gathering at Hurst Ranch was in preparation, I learned that Don had been diagnosed with cancer--but at that time there were few details, and I was not aware of the severity.

Since our graduation in 1966, what a joy it has been that our class has pretty much maintained the same class reunion committee members, with a core of people choosing to be involved each time our class was planning an event.  Over the years, and at most of those class reunions, the skills of Don Long and his many connections were always on display and were a big part of the nucleus of our success.

For each of us--even in sadness, we can smile as we remember how Don's friendship enhanced our lives.  Don leaves each of us with fond memories.

Filling in the photo slots at the top of your Profile:

• Click "Edit Profile" under MEMBER FUNCTIONS.
• Roll your cursor over the Master Photo, Then, Now, or Yearbook photo silhouette (note you cannot upload a yearbook photo if one has already been provided)
• Click "Select Photo" displayed in the upper right corner of photo, then click the "Upload a New Photo" button.
• Select the desired photo from your hard drive. You will then be given an opportunity to crop the photo for a perfect fit.

# 4 Thing to do - Check all the links - you can't break anything

• Classmates Profiles - See who has created a profile, added a picture, or registered for the Reunion (There are definitions at the top of the "Classmates Profiles" page which defines the Icons after each clasamates name)
• Message Center - Send an email to classmates who have created a profile - a great tool if you don't have his/her email address.
• Missing Classmates - We need your help. See who is missing, and if you know how to contact them, let us know.
• Photo Gallery - Still a work in progress but check out our photos
• Note From "Class Creator" -​ The Class Creator system does not send spam mail of any kind to your Classmates. Your Classmates can whitelist Class Creator email addresses with confidence that spam email will never be sent from our address.
